I do like the hotels you have. I spend a few weeks every year in Venice and most of the hotels you feature are fabulous, but you must really try another hotel that I think is the best luxury hotel in Venice.

I much prefer small luxury hotels than those big soulless places you find throughout the world, and this is just a divine boutique hotel. It is the Ca'Sagredo and Venice is just not Venice unless we stay here. The restaurant is mind-blowingly good, and nothing can be faulted from the moment you enter - absolutely heaven.

If you can't feel like a queen when on vacation in Venice, then something is wrong so darling please go and spoil yourself in a palace fit for a queen.

Maria's reply: Michelle, I will have to check it out as I too have heard some good things about the hotel. It only recently opened I believe after five years of restoration.

P.S. Since writing the above I have had a chance to visit the hotel and you are right...it's fabulous!!

I would love to add it to my list of hotels but my hubby wants to keep the list of luxury hotels we feature at five and I can't bring myself to drop any of the current ones.

Was there in Sept. Wonderful time. Dinner great on Grand Canal. Breakfast buffet excellent. Location perfect.

I am a Signature Travel Agent and I have booked the Ca'Sagredo for clients. These are really, really picky clients. Well, they loved the hotel. Only complaint...disturbed by early garbage pick up on the canal....but the hotel was lovely, the staff attentive, great location and they will go back.

I only feature a few hotels I know well on the site and sometimes, as with any choice, it is a very personal decision and what I like might not appeal to someone else.

I have never wanted to just give a whole list of hotels in Venice and I am always delighted to hear back that someone has followed a recommendation and been happy with the choice.

The early garbage pick up has driven me crazy all over Italy. When we lived in Turin it seemed to be at around 4am!! Drove me nuts.
