Elegant Hotel in Siena
by Susan Rebillot
(Richmond, VA, USA)
The Palazzo Ravizza is a grand former family palazzo that was developed into an elegant, charming small hotel at the top of the historic center of Siena.
The rooms are old world Italian, but the amenities here are modern. There is a beautiful garden with views. When we visited, there was an incredible restaurant with extraordinary Tuscan cuisine and wines-- first time that I tasted
Roast Rabbit. Splurge and reserve here!
Maria's reply: Thank you for the suggestion. I went to have a look at the the Palazzo Ravizza on Booking.com and it looks lovely and gets very good ratings. Next time I am in Sienna I'll make a point of visiting and perhaps spending a night or two there.
Sienna is such a lovely city, one of the loveliest in all of Italy, and I've been meaning to feature more about it for ages. Its a long while since I last visited too.
Perhaps it about time that I made a point to head down to Sienna in order to write a feature about it. Plus I simply love roast rabbit and if they do a good roast rabbit that is reason enough for me to make the trip. My husband loves roast rabbit AND wine so it shouldn't be very hard to convince him either.
